Grandparents Day weekend marked the release of the 2015 Fairsing Vineyard Pinot noir Sullivan (92 Points – Wine Enthusiast) and 2015 Fairsing Vineyard Pinot noir Dardis (92 Points – Wine Spectator).
Paul Gregutt, with Wine Enthusiast describes the 2015 Pinot noir Sullivan as “instantly delicious and bursting with sweet cherry fruit. Full flavored and fruity, it finishes on lasting milk chocolate, sweet herb and cola notes”.
With the 2015 Pinot noir Dardis Wine Spectator’s Tim Fish notes, “Expressive rose petal and raspberry aromas combine with savory dark berry and licorice flavors, framed by refined tannins”.
Grandparents Day weekend was selected for the release of these estate wines as they honor Winifred Sullivan (Mike McNally’s grandmother) and Hannah Dardis (Mary Ann McNally’s grandmother).
Stop by the Fairsing Vineyard tasting room to experience these distinct wines and learn more about the fun-loving and enterprising women they honor.
